Keith Gill

  • Keith Gill, a seasoned entrepreneur, has created two ‘greenfield start up’ companies that introduced two iconic brands in Phileas Fogg (savoury snacks for adults) and Look What We Found (provenance proven key ingredients).

  • With a combined turnover of £40m per annum and employing 400 staff, Phileas Fogg provided employment for 31 years and Look What We Found is 16 years and counting.

  • Design and Market Positioning were essential elements of engaging with consumers and the trade alike for these two SME’s (small and medium enterprises defined as under £50m annual sales and employing under 250 staff).

  • We aim to bring this experience and resource to the Artisan Micro-Businesses in the Food & Drink sector.

In July 2020 Keith became a Finalist in the North East region in two categories of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

Natalie Kelsey

  • Natalie Kelsey is the founder of food product development consultancy, The Curious Foodie, she has 15 years’ experience in food and drink product development across a large number of FMCG categories for leading food retailers and their manufacturers. As a freelance foodie, Natalie provides strategic expertise and leadership to food and drink businesses looking to grow their brand, develop new business opportunities, engage new customers and create innovative and effective innovation pipelines.

  • Natalie has developed & project managed to shelf 1000’s of products for retailer own label ranges, covering bakery, meat fish & poultry, ready meals and soup through to ambient snacking, preserves and soft drinks to name a few. Natalie prides herself on her personal service, she loves to stay close to the detail to seamlessly deliver the highest standards for her clients.

Nicola Whitehead

  • Nicola is an experienced commercial leader with 15 years’ experience in FMCG sales and food manufacturing.

  • With an extensive knowledge of supply chains, operations, retail and a passion for food from farm to fork Nicola is well placed to help businesses from start-ups to established enterprises.

  • Through effective business planning, cost efficiency and negotiation support Nicola can help businesses realise their potential & secure future growth. Nicola prides herself on providing an independent perspective and challenging ideas to develop businesses and make a difference.
